  • Design Foundry have been appointed to develop and coordinate the HVAC replacement strategy for Oxygen House, Exeter. This flagship building is undergoing a major programme of decarbonisation to replace existing plant with more energy-efficient, lower-carbon heating and ventilation systems. Our role spans a full technical review of the previous contractor’s detailed design, assessing its compliance with performance criteria and exploring alternative solutions that achieve greater sustainability and cost efficiency.

    This proactive and technically rigorous approach will give the client confidence that the new HVAC systems are future-proofed, compliant and aligned with the wider sustainability ambitions of Oxygen House.

  • By applying our expertise early and maintaining close collaboration with the client and design team, Design Foundry are helping shape an HVAC solution that sets a new benchmark for low-carbon retrofit in a complex, occupied building.
