Design Foundry was appointed by Acorn Blue to deliver full MEP design and thermal modelling services for Hotel California, a landmark residential development. The scheme comprises a 20-bed apartment block alongside four high-quality homes. Our role was to ensure the integration of efficient, sustainable building services that complement the architectural vision, while also supporting environmental performance targets through detailed thermal analysis.

Working closely with Acorn Blue, we delivered coordinated MEP solutions that enhance energy efficiency and future-proof the development. Our thermal modelling provided valuable insights that informed key design decisions, helping to optimise comfort, compliance, and long-term operational performance. Hotel California stands as another strong example of our collaborative, design-led approach to modern residential projects.
